Clarion Hotel Copenhagen to build new Congress facilities

The hotel is expanding their capacity with a new congress centre for 550 people, opening January 2008.

Clarion Hotel Copenhagen**** has teamed up with the owner of the property - Norgani Hotels, and are about to build a new 1,200 sq meters congress centre in direct conjunction to Clarion Hotel Copenhagen. The new centre will strengthen the supply of conference and congress facilities in Copenhagen for events for up to 550 participants.

- The demand for large scale facilities is steadily growing in Copenhagen, and with the limited, existing range of this type of venues, the new centre will be a great addition to the present alternatives. We look forward to welcome small and large events to the new centre in January 2008, says Jens Mathiesen, Director of Sales and Marketing in Choice Hotels Denmark.

- The location of the new centre between the town centre and the airport is ideal for larger events, and the proximity to the congress and exhibition centre the Bella Center is a major advantage, says Christian Topstad, General Manager at the Clarion Hotel Copenhagen. - Adding that the new centre will feature the latest technology, comfortable seating and a state of the art ventilation system. Further more, the number of breakout rooms and brilliant logistics will add to the whole experience.

Clarion Hotel Copenhagen is a four star hotel with 215 hotel rooms. The hotel opened for guests September 2003.
