Toddler's Pool in the Skydebanen Recreational Area.

The Skydebanen Recreational Area in Vesterbro features a large circular toddler's pool that attracts a lot of local families.

The playgrounds feature sandboxes, swings, climbing frames, a children's playhouse, a rope-swing, a playing field and many other things. The green lawns behind the toddler's pool is a great spot for a picnic.

Skydebanen, the 'shooting range', used to be where the Royal Copenhagen Shooting Society gathered back in the 1800s. The fortress-like wall was erected in 1887 to protect people in the streets from stray bullets.

Please note that infants and toddlers must wear proper swim diapers at all times. The pool has to be emptied in case of "minor mishaps". The Toddler's Pool is only open on warm summer days.
