Gay House

Gay House, is a cultural meeting place for gay, lesbians and trans-genders in Copenhagen.

The house is used for cultural projects, theatre and music performances, exhibitions, speaker events and parties. The use of the space can also be requested for any kind of events you would like to arrange.

The house is located in the idyllic Bøssehave in Christiania.

Gay House (called Bøssehuset in Danish) is a membership based organisation with an administration committee that, are responsible for the maintenance and economy of the house.

The activities in the house are governed by a weekly meeting, which is open for all. If however, a person would like to have a voting power, they would have to apply and pay - a modest fee - for a yearly membership.
