Night of Culture

On 12 October the annual Night of Culture kicks off in Copenhagen and offers children and adults more than 500 cultural events in just one night.

A total of more than 200 museums, churches, exhibition halls, galleries, political institutions, and many other institutions representing art and culture will keep their doors open during the evening.

Bring the kids

Many of Culture Night’s events are being arranged especially for this evening and so this is the only occasion on which you can experience them.

The whole city is an integral part of the Night of Culture, and the range of major and minor cultural institutions and venues mirrors how versatile Copenhagen culture is.

Culture Night invites you to go on an exciting journey through Copenhagen cultural life that will give you and many other guests an experience that is a bit out of the ordinary.

How can I take part?

With a so called Culture Kit you get free access to most events and free public transportation all night. The kit costs DKK 90 and can be bought in most S Train stations, libraries and cultural institutions.
