Supposedly, a Spanish bookstore cafe requires you to be into Spanish literature. Think again. At Rayuela, you can hang for your morning coffee and breakfast, pop in for a light lunch of bocatas or tostas or meet with friends for tapas and mate. Although you'll definitely wish to be able to read in Spanish once you've been there..!
Good 'n' homey You'll see no crowd at Rayuela; the lower level decor implies but a few small tables besides the window seating, facing the residential bustle of Fælledvej just off of Nørrebrogade.
The many books displayed invite you to unwind whether you're there for just a quick coffee or for a laid-back family weekend brunch. If the latter, look in the back for friendly couches - as well as heavenly loads of Spanish children's books for the kids, of course. By Julia Fearrington
