Club Christopher is one of Copenhagen's hottest LGBT nightclubs.The nightclub is located in the heart of Copenhagen and typically attracts an audience in their twenties. You must be 18 or older to get in. The club has its own DJ's, but frequently invites guest DJ's as well. In 2011 Club Christopher was nominated for the Danish Disco of the Year at Danish DeeJay Awards.The place is named after Christopher Street in New York, which for many gays worldwide is the symbol of their struggle for equal rights, acceptance, liberation and tolerance.It was in this street that homosexuals, 28 June 1969, started a protest against the police and the politicians, which echoed around the world and marked the beginning of the libration of homosexuals.
