BioMio

The restaurant BioMio is located at the outskirts of Copenhagen's new hot spot Kødbyen (Meat Town).

At BioMio the furniture is custom-made of certified wood, and packaging and other products necessary for running a restaurant are as environmentally friendly as possible.

With room for 250 hungry guests, quite an amount of food must be prepared. This is also done in an unusual manner at BioMio. At four working stations - in full view of the guests - the chefs are cocking the food, and no traditional waiter is on the payroll.

When you arrive at the restaurant a hostess meets you with a menu and an ordering card. When ready to order you go directly to one of the chefs. You also pick up the food yourself. This gives you the possibility both of inquiring about the food and of special treatment - if needed.
